Electrified gate systems

Vertical Pivot Gate (VPG) operators are appropriate in almost any application where vehicles and/or pedestrians need to be controlled.  Gates are custom manufactured to meet your specifications. The stand alone system is operated by 24VDC power.  In addition, built-in battery backup prevents security lapses during power outages. VPG’s operate in all weather conditions including extreme heat and cold as well as snow. Because the Vertical Pivot pivots open 90°, less space is necessary for installation and operation. Additional security features include anti-climb designs and all models have open and close cycles that range from 10-12 seconds, depending on the style and length. Our Vertical Pivot gate system is highly compatible with most access control systems as well as emergency entry devices used by Police and Fire departments. 

Slide Gates come in 3 common types  

1. CANTILEVER ROLLER: This is a full gate panel with a tail section.  There are (4) rollers to support the gate.  This cantilever slide gate is not guided by rollers along a ground track. Instead, the cantilever gate is moved sideways and back via roller trucks or roller wheels mounted to gate posts.
2. OVERHEAD SLIDE: Overhead slide gates use an overhead beam to support an enclosed track. A gate panel  is hung from the overhead track, to roll back and forth, opening and closing. 
3. V-TRACK (Rolling): V-Tracks gate are normally only installed in warm weather areas where they don’t get snow.  The gate rides along an inverted piece of angle fastened to the concrete like a rail.  There are V-Tracked wheels that attach tot he bottom of the gate allowing it to roll back and forth.  

 Swing gates are very common and well suited for use in commercial and residential sites. They operate by moving  through an arc, typically 90 degrees, to open and close.   There are typically 2  methods to open swing gates.  The first is pad mounted operators with articulating arms.  The second is post or pillar mount linear actuators. Swing gates are not as fast as other gate operators, therefore they are better suited for lower traffic areas.

 Barrier gate systems use a bar to prevent traffic from entering or exiting a location.  The operator works by raising the tip of the barrier arm to allow entry or exit access.   With rapid open and close options (as fast as 1.3 seconds) barrier arms provide a reliable low maintenance solution for parking and access control.
